FAQ: What are "Special Points" for Citrus Deliveries?
- Orders shipping to other citrus growing states undergo additional inspections throughout the shipping process.
- Texas, Louisiana, Arizona and California are all considered "special points".
- Orders shipping to addresses in any of these states are processed and shipped on particular days, which vary throughout the season and per year (for example, a special point may be on a Friday one week and a Thursday the next week).
- These agricultural shipping restrictions can affect holiday delivery dates. For example, while our guideline in 2025 is to have all orders in by December 18th for Christmas delivery, Special Points trucks leave our packing house on December 19th. This means that the packages going to a Special Points state will likely be delivered anytime between the 24th and the 29th.
